MMM

Here is Monday's Morning Message for June 22, 2026,
from Brother Sam Scheib:

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Happy Monday to you.
This week I want to encourage you to find a spiritual mentor. These
mentors are usually older than us but don't have to be. Someone in
whom you can confide and in whom you trust. Most importantly,
they must be wise not only in this earthly life but in God's Word as
well. We all need guidance since none of us are perfect. Mentors
provide comfort, support, and encouragement, helping to build up
the Body of Christ. The goal of a mentor is to pass on Biblical
knowledge to the next generation, equipping them to one day teach
and become mentors themselves. "You have heard me teach things
that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach
these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass
them on to others"
(2 Timothy 2.2). If you have someone in mind
already it is probably because they live a life of "Christ-like behavior."
That's exactly what we are supposed to do, just as Paul instructed
the Corinthians: "And you should imitate me, just as I imitate
Christ"
(1 Corinthians 11.1).
Mentors guide us in understanding and applying Scripture. They
help us navigate challenges and sin traps, and help us to stay true
to our callings. Mentors pray with us and for us. Not only do we need
spiritual mentors in our lives but they need us as well. Mentoring is
not a one-way street; both mentor and mentee are refined and
strengthened through the relationship, as seen in the "iron sharpens

Iron" principle (Proverbs 27.17). Find a mentor to help you and guide
you, to navigate and learn, and to one day become a mentor
yourself to pass on your spiritual wisdom to the next generation.

Have a blessed week!
Soli Deo Gloria!

He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
